The Hubris of Bill Gates

Dear Bill Gates,

IF, after 10 more years of destroying our nation’s public education system, you DO determine that you have made some grand mistakes that affected nearly all Americans negatively, and having in the meantime lined your own pockets in a big way, what will America get from you—-an apology?  Your remaining fortune to try to begin to rebuild the damage, which won’t even be possible at that point?  I would urge you to make very careful decisions in future, as your unmitigated hubris is not appreciated by the vast majority of Americans, regardless of what your 1% cronies tell you.  You and they will NOT buy America’s education system for your own profits in spite of having O’Bama and the federal DOE in your pocket.  Teachers simply won’t allow it to happen.  We see what you are trying to do.

Badass Teacher, Anonymous

Note from Teachers’ Letters to Bill Gates:  A few have commented on the author’s misspelling of “O’Bama” vs Obama.  Of course this teacher knows how to spell it correctly. When we read the letter, we felt it was an intentional mis-spelling to show disrespect (for the President’s push of corporate reforms vs listening to the public). We felt it was part of the “teacher voice” vs a misspelling after re-reading.  We try to post authentic teacher letters and do not take responsibility for edits, leaving their work intact.  The message rings clearly.

You would think a “teacher” would know it is not “O’Bama”

You would think that perhaps a teacher intentionally mis-spelled Obama as a small sign of disrespect. We took it to be “teacher voice”, not “mis-spelling” when we re-read the anonymous piece. You decide.

      Thank you,

If you can read this thank a teacher.

If you have stock in “education reform companies” thank Bill Gates.

There are no mistakes being made here and negative impact on US citizens is exactly what is intended. The Gates’ agenda was well thought out decades ago by those who are really behind it, as detailed in the interview of Charlotte Iserbyt, Senior Policy Advisor at the DOE during the first Reagan administration (at the link below). Your anger is understandable – much damage has already been done and the worst is yet to come.
